7 July, Coordinating Training and Education in Optics and Photonics, Berlin, Germany

During a Laserlab Foresight Workshop on "Future challenges for the European laser community: I3's, pan-European research infrastructures and human resources", the need for closer coordination of Training and Education activities in the field of lasers became apparent.

In order to collect information on past, current and future activities in this context of all players, Laserlab has organized a first meeting which was attended by representatives of ELI, HiPER, Laserlab, EOS and Photonics21. The outcome should be the basis for a larger workshop in October this year.
