Laserlab-Europe and EURIZON jointly organise a Training Course on Intense Lasers that will be held on 16-20 October 2023 at the ALPHANOV PYLA Training Center in Talence (Bordeaux), France.

The PYLA training center provides training courses in the field of lasers, optics and photonics since 2005. Installed within the Institute of Optics of Aquitaine, the PYLA training center has premises entirely dedicated to the organisation of training courses for professionals.

We invite applications for a 5-day training course on intense lasers, providing participants with the necessary skills to design and efficiently use intense laser systems. The course will address the theoretical background as well as practice and lab work, computation and simulations. The contents will include laser architecture; laser sources (oscillators); amplification, beam handling and focusing; non-linear optics: frequency conversion and laser tenability; laser diagnostics and beam management; and labs-simulations and codes.

5 days of theory and practical application,
✔ more than 10 expert trainers in the field,
12 sessions of tutorials or lab works.

Application
Attendance is limited to 12 participants. All applications are welcome. Applications from scientists in Ukraine are encouraged.

Deadline for applications
Applications are closed.

Registration fee
There is no registration fee. Travel and accommodation will be covered by Laserlab-Europe and EURIZON.
