The Ultrafast Chiral Dynamics Laboratory at University of Basel is looking for a postdoctoral researcher with experience in ultrafast spectroscopy to join the interdisciplinary team.
Our laboratory develops time-resolved laser spectroscopy techniques to capture both the structural and electronic evolution of molecular systems during their (bio-)chemical activity in real-time. To this end, we are pursuing a new approach: we measure ultrafast changes in molecular chirality with broadband circularly polarized laser pulses to track the encoded structural dynamics with sub-picosecond time resolution.
