Laserlab-Europe partner CLPU announces third call for access to VEGA

Deadline extended to 18 December 2020

After the reopening of the facilities at the end of the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation, declared in the country on March 14 and ended on June 21, 2020 , CLPU is pleased to communicate the publication of the THIRD CALL FOR ACCESS TO VEGA, CLPU's petawatt laser system.

Call for VEGA access

The Spanish Pulsed Lasers Centre (CLPU, Centro de Láseres Pulsados) is a user facility devoted to ultrafast ultraintense lasers located at Villamayor, Salamanca (in the Castilla and Leon Region). It is part of the implementation of the Spanish Roadmap of Unique Scientific and Technical Facilities (ICTS). CLPU is open to domestic and international users on the basis of competitive access. The main equipment of CLPU is the VEGA laser system, a Ti:Sapphire CPA laser delivering pulses at 800 central wavelength and with a duration slightly shorter than 30 fs.

Proposals can be submitted until December 18th, 2020.
