Working in Photonics
Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 June 2022
On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 June 2022 MBI hosted an in person CARLA camp around careers in photonics.
The Camp was aimed at university students and early-stage researchers (graduates, undergraduates, Master’s students, PhD students and early stage post-docs) from all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and Photonics focused areas.
It gave participants a peek into the vast opportunities that the photonics careers landscape offers. The session featured short presentations from different organizations and the chance to ask questions. Participants were also able to network with experts from academia, industry and entrepreneurship in a casual atmosphere with food and drinks.
This event was organised in cooperation between the EU funded Project CARLA, the SPIE/OSA Student Chapter Berlin, OpTecBB e.V. and Ferdinand-Braun-Institut.
