The Laserlab-Europe community gathers in Riga for:
24 July 2023, 1:00-4:30pm: Laserlab-Europe Expert Group meetings
The Laserlab-Europe Expert Groups on Lasers for Clean Energy and Laser Science for Cancer Research will meet to discuss technologies shaping the future in the respective research area. The afternoon provides short input presentations and puts a strong focus on discussions and interactions between the participants.
25 July 2023, 9:00am – 4:00pm: Foresight Workshop on Opportunities with Future Laser-based Technologies
During this workshop the Laserlab-Europe community, together with its partners, will intensify the discussions in order to identify the most promising technologies on which they should invest and collaborate in order to open new fields of scientific, industrial and societal opportunities. Besides short talks and discussion formats, an exhibition space will be the main place to meet and exchange during the whole day.

- Environment & water (micro and nano plastics and pollution)
- Photoacoustics
- Laser processing for materials structuring
A lab tour will take place after the workshop.
In the evening, a working dinner will be organised.
26 July 2023, 9:00am – 12:30pm: Laserlab-Europe AISBL General Assembly
On the third day, member representatives of the Laserlab-Europe association will meet for its General Assembly.
