We invite you to the Laserlab-Europe symposium on exploring the use of lasers in combating cancer, which will take place online on 25 May 2021. The event will bring together international academic researchers and medical professionals, including an industrial perspective. Over the course of the morning, our speakers - all experts in their field - will highlight life-changing innovation in the research, development and application of lasers used to fight cancer, insights from the members of the Laserlab-Europe community and industrial commentary from companies engaged in technology commercialisation.
Overview on Lasers in Cancer Research, Diagnosis and Treatment
Session 1 – Lasers in Cancer Diagnosis
Session 2 – Lasers in Cancer Treatment
There will be a chance to have a Q&A with the speakers after each session.
Target audience
The event is open to anyone with an interest in lasers and cancer. The audience is expected to be largely technical, and we welcome participants with a medical and industrial background looking to find out more about the latest ground-breaking research and technologies.

The event is free to attend. The symposium will take place online via Zoom. A link will be provided after registration.
