Postdoc position for time-resolved ARPES of PLD grown films at FHI Berlin, Germany

The Emmy Noether group Dynamics of Correlated Materials ( at the Department of Physical Chemistry of the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin is offering a Postdoc position in experimental solid state research. Topic of the position is the development of a pulsed laser deposition system for the growth of complex transition-metal oxide thin films and heterostructures, which will be investigated primarily by time-resolved ARPES and momentum microscopy.

We are looking for highly motivated applicants with a Phd degree in Physics or Material Sciences or equivalent, and with a strong background in PLD growth of transition-metal oxides, ARPES and physics of strongly correlated materials. Experience in ultrafast spectroscopy is also beneficial. More information can be found in the attached document.
Applications shall be send until 19.4.2020 to  Dr. Laurenz Rettig (
