We are currently looking for PhD students to join our team!

Tasks: Scientific service in research and teaching; planning and pursuing of ultrafast spectroscopic experiments of complex materials, sample preparation/characterization, data analysis and development of new analysis procedures, generation of scientific texts & presentations, tasks to obtain additional scientific qualifications

Requirements: Completed degree in chemistry, physics or material science (M.Sc. or equivalent); solid knowledge of light-matter-interaction, physical properties of solids and ultrafast spectroscopy are necessary; furthermore desirable are: practical experience in fluorescence upconversion or time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, knowledge of relevant data analysis software (igor, python etc), sample preparation & characterization, experience in optical/PL spectroscopy with amplified lasersystems. Teaching experience is welcome! -As teaching is part of the job description, German language skills (or the willingness to achieve them) are highly desired. Depending on the research focus, it will be possible to achieve a PhD in chemistry or physics within the framework of this position.
