PhD position in Chiroptical Spectroscopy Group at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland

A PhD student position is available in Chiroptical Spectroscopy Group of Agnieszka Kaczor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland). We focus on analysis of complex chiral supramolecular systems using chiroptical spectroscopies, in particular Vibrational Optical Activity (VOA): Raman Optical Activity (ROA) and Vibrational Circular Dichroism (VCD). See for a list of recent publications.

The position is funded by the project OPUS25 NCN ‘Multilevel chirality, reversibility and polymorphism of amyloid fibril superstructures’ that addresses fundamental topics related to amyloid fibrils including chirality and structural polymorphism, reversibility of formation, capacity for post-formation modifications, and influence of ‘seeds’ on fibril structures.

Deadline for application: 2 April 2024
