Job description:
- support ongoing operations of our supercomputing clusters
- implementation of monitoring solutions that gather, store and display performance and system status metrics of networked systems
- interface with other projects aimed at the remote and secure use of said HPC systems
- development of the documentation for existing solutions and procedures
- perform security assessments on Linux-based systems and solutions
- design and implementation of automation tools for use in future cluster upgrades
- support users in the development and optimization of scientific software
Requirements:
- familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system and its basic tools
- familiarity with network architectures and security
- experience with parallel filesystems and storage architectures
- able to communicate in English in oral and written forms
- basic programming skills, particularly in Bash, Perl, or Python
- we mostly value prior experience, flexibility, and effectiveness
