Job description:

  • support ongoing operations of our supercomputing clusters
  • implementation of monitoring solutions that gather, store and display performance and system status metrics of networked systems
  • interface with other projects aimed at the remote and secure use of said HPC systems
  • development of the documentation for existing solutions and procedures
  • perform security assessments on Linux-based systems and solutions
  • design and implementation of automation tools for use in future cluster upgrades
  • support users in the development and optimization of scientific software

 

Requirements:

  • familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system and its basic tools
  • familiarity with network architectures and security
  • experience with parallel filesystems and storage architectures
  • able to communicate in English in oral and written forms
  • basic programming skills, particularly in Bash, Perl, or Python
  • we mostly value prior experience, flexibility, and effectiveness
