Applications are invited for beam time at the PHELIX laser facility in 2011
PHELIX will provide access for combined laser- and heavy-ion beam experiments at the Z6 target station of the UNILAC heavy-ion acceleratorl. Pulses of up to1 kJ with a duration between 1 and 10 nanosecond can be delivered at the Z6 experimental area, synchronized with heavy-ion pulses up to 12 MeV/u.
